The spot on the river was twenty minutes from campus, and Cam was delighted to find that Tab knew a route that would prevent them from having to travel any of the roads packed with fans attempting to leave Baton Rouge. The car handled perfectly and Cam fell in love with the Mustang. Still wouldn’t trade my Jeep, but man the power is awesome.

Cam slowed when Tab pointed out a narrow dirt path. “You want me to drive down that, in this car?”

“Yeah, just take it slow. It opens up once you clear the highway.”

Cam heard whooping and hollering ahead of them and saw the glow of the fire as night had fully fallen around them. She pulled to a stop beside Ruth’s truck. “Do you want the top up or down?”

“I think it’s safe to leave it down.”

Cam turned off the car and handed Tab the keys. “Thanks for letting me drive. She’s a great car.”

“You’re welcome. She’s a fantastic drive. Let’s go have some fun.”
